 Hello and an especially warm welcome to those of you I had a chance to meet at the New England Log and Timber Frame Home Show. See a picture of our booth below:
It was actually a lot of fun, I found that people were very happy to talk to a small local company. They were especially impressed by our longevity (over forty years!) and the efficiency of our shop due to a combination of automation and experienced long term employees. We are always happy to show off our shop and invite you to call for a chance to come by for a tour. See why our joinery can save hundreds of board feet in timber and produces a more graceful look to what can sometimes be a very ponderous heavy timber frame. We were the first to develop a standardized spline joint that is both glued and pegged creating a superior stiff connection than the more traditional mortise and tenon. Of course there are a number of locations where the simple pegged mortise and tenon are more than adequate and we employ this proven joint where ever it is appropriate.
I'm looking forward to adding video to the site soon and plan on demonstrating our unique joinery and have a little fun with some time lapse photography. Stay tuned!
