Post and Beam

We designed a lake house that was only a dream

Now it stands here as a proud post and beam

We nurtured the form, crafting its shape

Selecting the roof pitch that made it a cape

We added some details, a shed and a dormer

Drew up the plans and watched it get warmer

We placed the frame in the ideal location

Erecting it there by friends in the vocation

The craftsmen are building every thing we desire

Planning and working each day without tire

Every room needs a view that was her take

So our guests can relax and enjoy Crystal Lake
